Details
Fafarua means Manta Ray in the Tuamotu islands language, and it is the name the atoll elders gave to the land of our private island.
Tikehau Fafarua Lodge is a private island that you can rent exclusively for yourself. It is also a very remote place where you can enjoy a natural untouched setting in little privacy.
The “motu” is accessible only by boat; a 30 minute ride from the village. It is an over 6 hectare area (14 acres), planted with a vast coconut grove with places of untouched native vegetation. It is bounded by the sea on all four sides, with sandy beaches on the lagoon side and a large wild reef on the outer side.
Although far from any civilization, the house will offer you the comfort of a villa: nice furniture, comfortable bedding, fully equipped kitchen, electricity and running water (hot and cold), fans, mobile telephone network and the internet on topical speed.
The island will host two to eight people, but only one couple or one group at a time The meals , catering and housekeeping will be provided by the staff staying on the island, who will try their best to meet your desires for the schedules as well as the menus. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards as well as masks and palms are on disposal to help you explore the beaches and the surroundings.
Our rates include all these services and accommodations and the staff will do their best to make your stay as quite as unforgettable, in one of these special places of the world where the word “stress” doesn’t exist.
The minimum stay is 3 nights, but we recommend to stay at least one week, (due to the long way to reach our place).
